Appointment Policy

At Iam Light Energy Reiki, we value your time and commitment to your health journey. To ensure we can provide the best possible service to all our clients, we have implemented the following appointment and cancellation policy.

Appointment Information

All appointments are held at: 1880 Woodgate Court, Oshawa, ON L1G 7Z2

All sessions must be paid for in full prior to the start of your session.

Your initial appointment includes the completion of a client intake and informed consent form, along with a brief history, and may take an additional 5–10 minutes.

Phone calls are answered during posted operational hours. If you reach the voicemail, please leave a detailed message including the date and time. We do our best to return messages within 24 hours.

Late Arrival Policy

If you are running late for your session, we will do our best to accommodate you within the remaining time. However, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time unless there is no client scheduled immediately afterward.

Cancellation & Administrative Fee Policy

We kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are subject to a $25 administrative fee to cover time spent on scheduling, preparation, and payment processing fees. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs when clients change their mind, for any reason, about receiving a session or attending a class. This fee will be deducted from your original payment if a refund or credit is issued, or will be charged separately if no payment has yet been made.

For Reiki certification training classes and workshops, 72 hours' notice is required. This allows us the opportunity to offer your spot to another client.

Refund Policy

Appointments not cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice, or any no-show appointments, are non-refundable.

Reiki classes and workshops are non-refundable. If cancelled with a minimum of 72 hours' notice, we can transfer your registration to the next available course date.

Disclaimer for Extenuating Circumstances

We understand that life can be unpredictable. In the case of extenuating circumstances (such as medical emergencies or significant life events), we may consider offering a partial refund for Reiki classes and workshops at our discretion. If approved, an administrative fee will be deducted from the refunded amount:

$50 for Reiki Level 1
$50 for Reiki Level 2
$150 for Reiki Master Level

All refund requests must be made in writing and accompanied by supporting documentation. Thank you for your understanding and for honouring the time and energy it takes to prepare for these sacred teachings.
