Sometimes the first step isn't about learning something new.

It's about creating a little more space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and listen inward.

Reiki can become a gentle practice of coming back to yourself — one that you can carry with you into everyday life.

Whether you're drawn to Reiki for your own personal practice, want to share it with the people or animals you love, or feel curious about where this path may lead, Reiki Level 1 offers a beautiful place to begin.

No previous experience is needed. Just curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to explore.

Usui Reiki Level 1, or Shoden, is the foundation of your Reiki journey.

Together, we'll explore the history and teachings of traditional Usui Reiki while beginning to develop your own relationship with the practice.

You'll be introduced to self-Reiki, meditation, the Reiki Precepts, energy awareness and hands-on practice — allowing you to experience Reiki rather than simply learn about it.

The intention isn't to rush through a list of techniques.

It's to begin creating a practice that feels natural and meaningful to you.

This training may be a beautiful place to begin if you:

• Feel curious about Reiki or energy work.
• Want to develop a practice for your own well-being.
• Are looking for ways to slow down, become more present, and reconnect with yourself.
• Would like to share Reiki with family, friends, or pets.
• Feel drawn to explore Reiki more deeply and perhaps continue toward becoming a practitioner.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin.

You simply need to be willing to take the first step.

Throughout your Level 1 training, you'll be introduced to:

• The history and philosophy of Usui Reiki
• The Five Reiki Principles (Gokai)
• Traditional breathing, meditation and energy-clearing practices
• Developing awareness of energy and how you experience it
• Self-Reiki and daily Reiki practice
• Hand positions for treating yourself and others
• Grounding and energetic awareness
• Traditional Japanese Reiki techniques
• The foundations of the chakra and energetic systems
• Giving Reiki to family, friends and pets
• Bringing Reiki into your everyday life

Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to practise.

Because Reiki isn't something you need to perfect before you begin.

Your understanding grows through experience.

My approach to teaching Reiki is grounded in traditional Usui Reiki teachings while allowing space for your own experience and learning.

I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, exploring what you experience, and taking your time as you develop your practice.

Training takes place in a calm, welcoming and supportive environment, with guided hands-on practice and individualized support throughout the day.

And your learning doesn't end when the training day does.

You'll have resources, a 21-day integration period and continued support to help you begin incorporating Reiki into your everyday life.

The 21-day integration period gives you an opportunity to slow down and practice with your Reiki each day.

You'll have your journal to support your experience, along with a follow-up Google Meet mentorship session where we can reconnect, share experiences and answer questions that may come up as you begin your practice.

Reiki is a journey.

There's no need to rush it.

Do I need previous experience?

No. Reiki Level 1 is designed for beginners. You don't need any previous experience with Reiki or energy work.

Can I use Reiki professionally after Level 1?

Level 1 primarily introduces you to self-Reiki and sharing Reiki with family, friends and pets. If you feel called to develop your skills further and work with clients, Reiki Level 2 is the next step in your training.

How long is the training?

The training is approximately seven hours.

Will I receive a certificate?

 Yes. Upon completion of the training, you'll receive your Usui Reiki Level 1 (Shoden) Certificate. 

What happens after training?

You'll begin a 21-day integration period supported by your journal and daily Reiki practice. You'll also receive a follow-up Google Meet mentorship session and have continued access to support.

Private One-to-One Training

A personalized Reiki learning experience designed around you, with dedicated instruction, hands-on practice and individual mentorship.

Full payment or deposit option available.

Reserve your space with a non-refundable $111 deposit. Remaining balance is due 7 days prior to training.

Small Group Training

A supportive and intimate learning experience with a maximum of four students.

Small group training offers the opportunity to learn together, practise together and share the experience with others who are beginning their own Reiki journey.
